PERTAMINA ECO RUN 2018

Pertamina is a national energy company that has a vision to become a world-class national energy company, Pertamina runs its core business from upstream to downstream, with this business Pertamina has an important role in supporting the nation’s energy security. In addition to running the core business Pertamina also runs Corporate Social Responsibility programs that are closely related to biodiversity.
In commemoration of the 61st Anniversary, Pertamina again held an annual running event, Pertamina Eco Run and still raised the theme of preserving biodiversity. In line with the theme of Pertamina through Pertamina Eco Run again committed to continue to preserve biodiversity, this year Pertamina Eco Run took the theme “Galang Energi Lestahan Negeri”, by lifting the Bondol Eagle and Sumatran Elephants as its icon.
Pertamina hopes that this event can also increase the awareness of the Indonesian people on the status of the near extinction of the two animal species. Through Pertamina Eco Run, Pertamina will also donate a portion of the cost of registering Pertamina Eco Run 2018 for the preservation of Sumatran Elephants and Bondol Hawk, as well as Pertamina Eco Run 2017, where donations are given to preserve animals that are almost extinct, namely marine float and Javan gibbon.
Besides being able to enjoy this running event and contribute to preserving animals in Indonesia, participants had the opportunity to get prizes and door prizes worth a total of hundreds of millions of rupiah. This year’s Pertamina Eco Run has become more attractive with the new category, fun run 1.5K for children aged 6 to 12 years, in addition to the 5K and 10K categories that are still present at Pertamina Eco Run 2018. There are also additional categories of open in the race 10 K which can be followed by foreign citizens (WNA).
